Century

Race: The century after the civil war and reconstruction created a lot of freedom and equality after all that happened in the past years. The cause for a good change made the United States of America a better place to live in and a more stable and unity state. The South still had a lot of remorse and could of led to another war against racing but the unity of reconstructing a new country made it to live at peace. Race comes in matter in all of this since after years and years of racism and slavery the United States of America had peace and equality. In this article they talk about how race made everything better but still has conflict as America was made better again.

Divided Nations
Race: The civil was based upon a racial discrimination as the south or confederate states wanted to keep their slaves to keep the crops going on and many other things.
The north or the union wanted to band slavery and great a better living for everyone according to the Declaration of Independence which stated that every man was equal. Lincoln hard fought to end slavery next to many abolitionists and defeated the confederate states to end the civil war. Race was finally ok to be any color even tho the confederate states had a lot of remorse. On this article they talk about all the events that lead the Union to win and get rid of slavery and how it created a change for the way people viewed each other and had more freedom then ever.
